Winter Adventures

 

On weekends and selected holiday periods throughout the winter, Montgomery Adventures provides guided winter adventures through the natural world surrounding Montgomery, VT, only 12 miles from Jay Peak Mountain. This amazingly picturesque part of Vermont is known for its untouched woodlands, pristine lakes and rivers, and rolling hills, and is the perfect area to enjoy snowshoeing, winter camping, and ice fishing. Come discover the fun you can have exploring the world in winter with us!

 

SNOWSHOEING

Our guided Snowshoe tours are a wonderful way to explore the backwoods of Vermont in Winter! Our Snowshoe Tours can accommodate groups, couples, or active families. If you don’t need a guided tour but want to rent snowshoes, snowshoe rentals are available for $15 per person,

Below are some other adventures we offer, but remember, our adventures are not just limited to what we have listed here. Ice Fishing – January through March, enjoy a full day of ice fishing with an experienced guide.  Food and equipment are included. Fishing licenses are not included and must be purchased separately prior to your adventure. Visit VTFishandWildlife.com to purchase a fishing license online.

Basic Winter Survival Courses – start at $100.00 per person includes wilderness survival training. Learn how to make a lean-to, a fire in the snow with no matches, how to make signals, and other basic survival skills.
