There's nothing like paddling on a Northern Vermont lake or pond in the summertime or during Fall Foliage, looking for loons and other wildlife. We'll take to you the best spots, and handle all the hassles of transporting boats and gear.

If you're looking for a great way to enjoy paddling in Northern Vermont, this is the tour for you! Keith will lead you on a paddling adventure, and if you like, can even give fishing lessons before you settle down for the best BBQ in Northern Vermont - all you have to do is enjoy! When you book this adventure, not only will you enjoy canoeing and kayaking, but you also get the chance to have a taste sensation like you have never had before! Keith makes his own BBQ sauce for your choice of baby back or country-style Ribs or chicken, Rice or Potatoes, vegetable, a pie for desert, and your choice of wine. This tour is also available with a packed lunch option instead of a barbecue, or without lunch.

Fantastic, day-long private canoe trip was the highlight of our vacation
"During our 4 day trip to the area, we booked a private canoe trip with Keith at Montgomery Adventures. His wife, Lori, was wonderful to deal with when we were planning the day leading up to our trip, and they were extremely flexible to our schedule. Keith picked up me, my husband, and our 2 Labs at the Phinneas Swann B&B (LOVELY!) in the morning and transported the 4 of us to a hidden spot to launch our two canoes on the Missisquoi River (one for Keith and the equipment, and one for the 4 of us). We've canoed a few times and are certainly no experts; Keith was exceedingly patient when we got stuck in shallow water or when we had to corral our dogs back in the boats. He was a pleasure to talk to about the area, wildlife, Montgomery life, etc. My husband, a photographer, was able to stop and take photos whenever he wanted, we had no set timetable. We spent hours floating/paddling down the river, and did not see another person the entire time. We stopped along the banks where Keith cooked up an amazing lunch of BBQ chicken on a little grill, accompanied by Lori's delicious macaroni salad, bread, wine, and dessert. It was heaven. And very reasonably priced to boot. Afterwards Keith took us to see and photograph Big Falls, a beautiful waterfall with excellent photo opportunities. Bottom line, this trip was EXCELLENT, with beautiful scenery, a carefree atmosphere, and good company. Thanks Keith and Lori - we cannot recommend you guys enough!"

Northeast Kingdom by Kayak!
"We just spent a week in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and capped our stay with a wonderful kayak ride with Montgomery Adventures. It was just the perfect way to end the week. "Having had an incredible moonlit dogsled ride last winter, we came back and tried our hand at paddling. The paddling equipment was in excellent condition, Keith takes care of everything and in no time you are off padding this lazy, ancient waterway.
