Camping and Fishing are both warm weather and winter activities with Montgomery Adventures. We offer summer and fall foliage camping and fishing, as well as winter camping and ice fishing. Fishing and Camping can be done together on a combo tour, or as separate activities.
Camping
Our overnight camping trips are priced per person and are all-inclusive - all you need to do is let us know what kinds of foods you like!
While our winter camping is limited to two persons, our summer camping options are open to groups, including children.
Primitive Campsite Rentals
If you are looking for a campsite in the Montgomery area, we have primitive campsites available for a nightly rental fee. Campers must provide their own tents, but our site has a fire pit, outhouse, and is located near a babbling brook. Nightly rates are posted on our Pricing page.

Summer Camping Trip
"We had a great, and adventurous time during our 4 night stay in August at Montgomery Adventures. It was a different experience for us- two students from Rhode Island and New York who had never gone up to Vermont. We:
Hiked 3 miles up to the top of the Fire Tower and saw a beautiful view;
Went to the hidden waterfalls;
Camped every single night in a different location and roasted Marshmallows by a fire;
Learned how to shoot rifles;
Played with the adorable new puppies and sled dogs that Lori and Keith own;
Met new people;
Took a Canoe trip to the Canadian border;
Got to learn about survival in the great outdoors;
Tried new foods and fruits;
Lori and Keith were both very accomodating... they are very knowledgeable about the area and showed us a good time.

Cold Weather, Warm People
My girlfriend and I decided on something a little off the beaten track this past winter, and decided to go dog sledding. We also planned to have a day of ice-fishing, but the day before we got an email from Lori telling us that a rough winter storm was blowing in, and we eventually planned to cut the trip down from 2 nights to just the one.
Nevertheless, it was an awesome adventure. The folks lent us additional clothing, and we were on our way. No fuss, easy as can be! The dogs were lovely, sweethearts, every single one. The sleeping arrangement were incredibly comfortable, especially given the fact that we were out in the woods in sub-zero temperatures. We enjoyed all of it, from beginning to end. They were friendly, accommodating, experienced and very sincere. We couldn't have asked for more, except perhaps a tub of Keith's special barbecue sauce for the road.
We came to Montgomery Adventures with no clue about what we were in for. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our time touring New England. Excellent!
